SOLEMNITY OF OUR HOLY FATHER ST. DOMINIC DE GUZMAN
On 8 August 2014, Friday, we remember our Holy Father St. Dominic de
Guzman oh his feast day. We mark this occasion as a special holiday with
NO CLASSES and NO OFFICE WORK for the Thomasian community.
A Eucharistic celebration will be offered in honor of St. Dominic on 7
August 2014, Thursday, at 9:00 AM at the UST Santisimo Rosario Chapel.
The University Vice-Chancellor, Very Rev. Fr. Gerard Francisco P.
Timoner III, OP will be the main celebrant and homilist during the said
Mass which will be concelebrated by the UST Fathers.
We greatly
encourage all administrators, faculty members, students and support
staff to partake in the celebration as an expression of reverence and
devotion to St.Dominic de Guzman.
