Exercise no. 3 --- Key to Corrections

1. Although all had eaten, nevertheless they were not happy.

Omnibus manducatis, tamen non erant felices.

Quamquam omne manducaverant, non tamen erant felices.

2. When he will have ascended to the Father, Jesus will be ashamed of the men not hearing the Father's words.

Cum ad Patrem ascenderit, Jesus viros non audientes verba patris confundetur.

3. Quapropter salutare praeceptum Domini felices audivimus, et diligimus omnes, et nobis ('to us') similes et dissimiles.

Wherefore happy we have heard the saving precept of the Lord, and we love all, both similar and dissimilar to us.

Therefore we, the happy ones, have heard the saving precept of the Lord, and we love all, both similar and dissimilar to us.

Therefore, happy are we who have heard the saving precept of the Lord, and we love all, both similar and dissimilar to us
